Jane's Doodles

This months theme is May Flowers or trees, bushes and grass will count too! Our wonderful sponsor is Jane's Doodles and the prize is a $30 gift certificate to her store.

Here is my project-

Here are the materials I used to make this card-

The roses are from the Mom set by Jane's Doodles , colored with Copics. The edge die is from Frantic Stamper called Scalloped Vine Edger, and I used the same rose colored Copic to spray the edge after I masked it off, inside and out.

The sentiment is a deboss die from Spellbinders (Die D-Lites Sentiments 8), and I used Versamark Rose Red ink to cut and deboss a scrap piece of white cardstock.

The paper is from my stash, and I added small white glitter drops (Nuvo) to add a little interest.

Make sure you enter for a chance to win that $30 gift certificate!

At Die Cut Diva's we are welcoming this months sponsor-

Jane's Doodles

This months theme is May Flowers or trees, bushes and grass will count too! Our wonderful sponsor is Jane's Doodles and the prize is a $30 gift certificate to her store.

Here is my project-

This is very CAS for me. The roses are from the Mom set by Jane's Doodles , which I colored with shimmer watercolors (Artist Loft, Michaels) and fussycut. The die I used is the sentiment from The Craft Spot (no longer in business), with 3 layers built up to form a chunky Thank You. The black and white dots are Nuvo drops. All paper is from my stash.

I tried for simple and elegant, so I hope it comes through that way!

Here are my projects:

Dreaming Tree Mailbox Card, Artiste sentiment

Dreaming Tree Apple Blossom Lantern

If you've never made a project using Dreaming Tree's SVG files, you are missing out on some gorgeous projects! I made both the card and the lantern with paper in my stash, along with the rhinestones, pearls and I-rock pink studs. Leo (The owner of Dreaming Tree) makes the best assembly videos, and I've learned to watch them at least once before I try to assemble! The Cricut cut on the mailbox card is from Artiste, and is the sentiment. The lantern will have a Cricut tag on it when I give this to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day.

Be sure to leave a comment-the Explore winner will be chosen from all comments left during the blog hop!

I am also entering both of these projects at  Classic Design Team Challenges!
